My passion is to strive to obtain the objective for each and every project I work on by asking myself these three questions: Does the design message inspire the viewer? Does it persuade the person to take action? Does it effectively communicate the message? If it meets each of these criteria then I have succeeded in my mission.
As a designer and web developer I get to work on unique and interesting projects that truly inspire me to do the best work of my life. Born and raised in Silicon Valley, I grew up during a time of great innovation driven by many of the companies in the Bay Area. This richness of history and continued growth in new technology is something I greatly value. It is what drives me to continually seek new opportunities for growth. My undergraduate studies and Bachelor of Art degree from Notre Dame have served as an excellent foundation for more my work towards a Master’s Degree in Web Design and New Media from the Academy of Art University.

Embroidery Work
I learned how to create embroidery logos using a program called Punto that used vector graphics like Adobe Illustrator.
The embroidery process provided me another outlit to be creative with popular companies.
The embroidery process is very difficult to understand due to so many factors.
Embroidering a polo shirt vs, a dress shirt means you must create the logo a little differently. Before you start to set up the logo you must map out how you’re going to start and finish. Many factors play a big role like colors, what is on the bottom and top, what kind of material (hats, polo shirts, and dress shirts), the speed of the needles and the embroidery machine creating the embroidery process. The machine punching is an art form that takes a lot of practice before you start to understand how it works. If you want to see the embroidery machine in action click here.
Punto Embroidery software
Punto makes it easy to create wonderful embroideries directly on your computer. With powerful graphics tools, you can follow your idea from the sketch to the finished design, all on your personal computer. It's the ideal design/production tool for punchers, embroiderers, screen printers and personalized items companies and shops. With Punto software, you can start from a sketch, scan it and then change it at will. You can create new artworks on your personal computer and then mix them with existing drawings and text. Trying all the different combinations of shapes, embroidery effects and colors has never been so easy. You can use drawings created with many graphic applications (Adobe Illustrator, Corel CorelDRAW!, Macromedia FreeHand, and others), apply the embroidery effects and Punto will calculate the stitches for you.
You can apply many different kinds of embroidery effects to your drawings. Each effect can be customized giving you an unlimited range of choices. Running, satin, fill, random stitches, backgrounds, tiles, curved fill, sequins, variable density, multicolor motifs, bean stitches and pull compensation are just some of the effects that Punto can create for you. You can change any effect at any time. You can duplicate, change and mix together different designs. Drawings and embroideries can be easily enlarged, rotated or slanted. Punto will automatically recalculate the new stitches producing the same level of quality.

The redesign of ofx.org will create a new fresh design that will be modern and meet today’s standards of HTML. It
will provide the key information to clients in a well-organized flow and provide up to date information about
future enhancements to the code. Open Financial Exchange (OFX) is an open standard for client-server systems
and cloud based APIs for exchanging financial data, and performing financial transactions between financial
institutions, and financial applications. The website was built on very old .net language that has been around for
15 years with no major updates. My team was working on updating the code so it was time to update the site to
something more modern and create the site in HTML 5.
Concept layout of website
Different layouts for the customer to choose.
What type of project mood?
Homepage after I made the edits per the request of the approver.
Added a interaction timeline for the evolution of open financial exchange.
The website is not the same on every page which makes it feel not like a professional website. The photography is all over the place and needs to be more consistent with rules for upload. The photos should not be covered in white space like an outdoor table and chairs should be sitting by a pool. The navigation on the left side of the page takes up way too much real estate. The shopping cart needs a little help by not trying to get everything in the same area.
Project was to create final layouts for desktop, iPad and iPhone using the research we gathered during the class.
Comparative Analysis for Charish.com shows why I felt it need to be updated to a more modern look and feel.
Mood Board that provided some great ideas on what direction I wanted to take the site.
Sample of personas who will most likely use the site and what kind of technical background.
Redesign the checkout page to make it clean and provide all the information on one page without scrolling.
Product page that provides a lot more information and at the bottom more suggestions of other products.
I am pursuing this project to help children with articulation due to this topic hits home. I have a three year old boy
who has this speech articulation problem that makes it hard for kids and adults to understand what he is trying to say. We
have been trying to get him help from the local school district but keep hitting a wall. Since, he is 3.5 years old and we just
moved to the area we have to wait for school to get back to us. In the meantime we need help now rather than later to
help develop the sounds he has trouble with today. As a parent, it’s hard to see your own child struggle to communicate to
other kids and teachers every day. My project will provide kids with a fun and safe way to learn speech through games and
pictures that sound out the words.
Created the following articulation app for WNM 643 OL2: MS: Interactive Design & Concepts
Articulation disorder is very serious problem in kids that should be addressed at a young age.
A vowel diagram or vowel chart is a schematic arrangement of the vowels. Depending on the particular language being discussed, it can take the form of a triangle or a quadrilateral.
Created a game for the child to play to learn with different vowels and added sound as a second source.
Final results after the child completes the game to help the parent or teacher provide a report.
Craigslist.org as a whole, works very well and is one of the most popular and informative websites out there today. The problem which needs to be addressed tends to deal more on a cosmetic and navigational level. Most avid users find navigation to be a simple, one click and you’re there. The goal of this interface design document is to give an overview of the critical design analysis performed by the designers, present and evaluation and justification of the target audience, and provide a functional description of the information architecture of the site. The final component of the document is an interactive, functioning, prototype of the new Craigslist.
Over the last year the world has seen so many natural disasters and many stories of communities helping each other. The app will be used as a
guide to aid the volunteer first responders when they have been called to help. I don’t feel the cities or communities around me our prepared
if a natural disaster hits. I have personally have been getting ready because I know I was not prepared. I started to call out to my family and
friends by asking them are you ready if we have a natural disaster? I want to know if I get the call to help my community in a natural disaster that I will have the skills and
tools to accomplish that request. The app will provide me with life-saving tips and skills on what to do if I find myself in a situation I need help. It also nice to build something
for the community who might not be ready or find them self in an emergency situation.
I have found a unique position app to help first responders in emgergency.
